A long-time member of AAA, I nevertheless have only had two occasions to use the service...the second one was just a week or so ago when my battery lost enough of its charge so that the car wouldn't start. AAA promptly got me started again but advised that I really needed to plan on replacing my battery. I started on getting estimates. A Dealer quoted $175 +/-, a parts story quoted in the $140 range and a tire place quoted just a bit lower than that. But a friend of mine suggested I check Automotive Resources. They are affiliated with AAA and with the discounts available, quoted under $120, so I made an appointment for the following day and brought my car in to them. They were the ultimate professionals, taking my car and checking the old battery, confirming that it would be wise to replace it, and installing the new one in less than an hour, all the while making my waiting time easy and productive (they had wi-fi available). They went through the bill with me...which ended up a bit less than the original estimate...and when I left, was pleasantly surprised to see that i did not need to reset my clock or radio...something that a dealer had left undone some years earlier. I would highly recommend Automotive Resources to anyone looking for dependability and professionalism. I intend to have all of my regular automotive servicing done there from now on.
